Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving, start from downtown Salem. Head south on Washington Street toward Derby Street. Continue on Derby Street, which becomes Fort Avenue. Follow Fort Avenue to the end until you reach a traffic circle. Take the second exit onto Winter Island Road. Continue straight, and you will see Winter Island Park on your left at 50 Winter Island Rd.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Winter Island Park using public transportation, take the MBTA commuter rail to Salem Station. From Salem Station, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located at the intersection of Washington Street and New Derby Street. Board the bus that goes towards Winter Island. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at Winter Island Road. From there, it's a short walk to Winter Island Park, which will be on your left.

• Walking

  If you are already in the downtown area, you can walk to Winter Island Park. Start at the Salem Witch Museum and head south on Washington Street. Continue to Derby Street, turn left onto Fort Avenue, and follow it until it ends at a traffic circle. Take the second exit onto Winter Island Road. Walk straight, and you will find Winter Island Park on your left at 50 Winter Island Rd.
