If you're driving from the center of Salem, head north on Washington Street toward Essex Street. Continue onto North Street and then turn right onto Derby Street (Route 1A). Follow Derby Street as it becomes Fort Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Winter Island Road. Turn left onto Winter Island Road and follow it until you reach Winter Island Park at 50 Winter Island Rd. Look for the park entrance on your right.

To reach Winter Island Park using public transportation, start at the Salem train station. Take the MBTA Commuter Rail on the Newburyport/Rockport Line toward Rockport. Get off at the Salem stop. From there, you can take the Bus #450 (Salem to Peabody) and get off at the Winter Island Park stop. The park entrance is a short walk from the stop. Alternatively, you can take a taxi or rideshare from the train station, which will take about 5-10 minutes.
