Car
If you are driving, start by getting onto MA-3 S from your location in South Shore. Follow MA-3 S to US-1 S in Weymouth. Take exit 15B to merge onto US-1 S. Continue on US-1 S for about 10 miles, then take the exit toward MA-107 N. Merge onto MA-107 N and follow it for approximately 5 miles until you reach a fork. Take the right fork onto MA-114 E. Continue on MA-114 E until you reach Salem. Once in Salem, turn left onto Chestnut St, and the Phillips House will be on your right at 34 Chestnut St.
Public Transportation
To reach the Phillips House via public transportation, start by taking the MBTA commuter rail from your nearest station in South Shore (such as Braintree or Quincy) towards North Station in Boston. Once you arrive at North Station, transfer to the Orange Line subway and take it towards Oak Grove. Get off at Haymarket Station and transfer to the Green Line towards Lechmere. Get off at Government Center and walk to the Haymarket bus terminal. From there, take the MBTA bus route 450 towards Salem. Get off in Salem and walk about 10 minutes to 34 Chestnut St, where the Phillips House is located.
