If you are traveling by car, start on I-93 N from downtown Boston. Take exit 26 to merge onto I-90 E toward Logan Airport. Continue on I-90 E and take the exit toward Logan Airport. Follow the signs for the airport and stay in the right lane. From there, follow the signs to Winthrop. Once you reach Winthrop, turn onto Tafts Ave. Continue on Tafts Ave until you reach 165 Tafts Ave, the entrance to Deer Island. There is parking available nearby.

To reach Deer Island via public transportation, start by taking the MBTA Blue Line from any downtown station towards Wonderland. Get off at the Orient Heights Station. From there, transfer to bus number 712 towards Winthrop. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at Tafts Ave. Walk a short distance to 165 Tafts Ave, where Deer Island is located.
