Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at the Lowell City Hall located at 375 Merrimack St, Lowell, MA. Head south on Merrimack St towards Dutton St. Continue walking straight for about 0.4 miles until you reach the intersection with Central St. Turn left onto Central St and continue for another 0.3 miles. At the intersection, turn right onto Thorndike St. After about 0.2 miles, you will see the Lowell Connector on your left, which will lead you to the nearby train station.

  • Bus

    From the Lowell City Hall, walk to the nearest bus stop located at 156 Merrimack St. Catch the MBTA bus number 350 towards Alewife station. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes. When you arrive at Alewife station, transfer to the Alewife subway line (Red Line) towards Ashmont/Braintree and get off at Kendall/MIT station. You'll find yourself in Kendall Square, Cambridge.

  • Train

    Make your way from Lowell City Hall to the Lowell Train Station located at 25 Thorndike St. The station is about a 10-minute walk from the City Hall. Take the MBTA commuter rail towards Boston (North Station). After approximately 30 minutes, disembark at North Station. From there, take the Green Line train (C or E branch) towards Lechmere. Get off at the Kendall/MIT station, which will place you directly in Kendall Square.
