From the center of Black River, head south on Main Street. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto the road leading towards the waterfront. Walk for another 300 meters until you see the sign for J. Charles Swaby's Black River Safari on your left. The entrance is just a short walk from the main road.

If you're near the Black River market, find the bus stop on Main Street. Take a local minibus that is headed towards the waterfront. The fare is usually inexpensive, around 100 Jamaican dollars. Inform the driver you want to go to J. Charles Swaby's Black River Safari. The bus will stop near the entrance. Just walk a short distance to the safari entrance from the drop-off point.

For those who prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local shops in Black River. Start from the center and ride south on Main Street.
