Getting There

• Walking

  If you are near the central area of Downtown Cancun, head towards Avenida Tulum, which is the main thoroughfare. Walk to the intersection with Avenida Coba and turn left. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida Bonampak. From there, you can either keep walking or take a local bus.

• Bus

  To take a bus, look for a bus marked with 'Zona Hotelera' on the front. This bus will take you towards the Hotel Zone and you will need to get off at the stop closest to the Templo del Alacran. The fare is around 12 pesos. Once you get off, walk towards Punta Nizuc - Cancún 1835, which is located in El Rey, Hotel Zone, approximately a 10-minute walk.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Downtown Cancun. From the rental location, head towards Avenida Tulum, then follow the same route as if you were walking. Biking will reduce your travel time significantly, and you can enjoy the scenic views along the way.

• Taxi

  If you prefer not to walk or take public transport, you can opt for a taxi. Taxis are readily available in Downtown Cancun. Just tell the driver you want to go to 'Templo del Alacran' located at Punta Nizuc - Cancún 1835. The fare will vary, but expect to pay around 100 to 150 pesos depending on your starting point.
