Getting There

• Taxi

  From any location in Puerto Aventuras, you can easily find a taxi. Simply head to the main street (Carretera Federal 307) and wave down a taxi. Make sure to confirm the fare before getting in, as taxis in the area do not have meters. The ride to International Cruise Terminal Cozumel will take approximately 25-30 minutes, and expect to pay around 400 to 500 pesos.

• Colectivo (shared van)

  To travel more economically, you can take a colectivo. These shared vans leave from designated stops in Puerto Aventuras. Head to the main road (Carretera Federal 307) and look for a colectivo heading towards San Miguel de Cozumel. The fare is typically around 30 to 50 pesos per person. Inform the driver you'd like to go to the International Cruise Terminal Cozumel. The ride will take about 30-40 minutes, depending on stops.

• Bicycle

  If you're feeling adventurous and want some exercise, consider renting a bicycle. Many rental shops are available in Puerto Aventuras. Once you have your bike, head north on the main road (Carretera Federal 307) towards San Miguel. Follow the signs for the cruise terminal. The ride is approximately 13 km and will take around 40-50 minutes. Make sure to wear a helmet and stay hydrated!

• Walking

  While walking is not the most practical option due to distance, if you're up for a long stroll, you can walk to the International Cruise Terminal Cozumel. Start by heading north on the main road (Carretera Federal 307) out of Puerto Aventuras. It’s about a 13 km walk, which will take roughly 2.5 to 3 hours. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as there may not be many places to stop along the way.
