If you are driving, start from the town of Ciudad Valles, which is one of the main hubs in Huasteca. Head southeast on the Carretera 85 towards San Luis Potosí. After about 20 km, you will see signs for the 'Sótano de las Huahuas'. Turn onto the road that leads to the park entrance. Continue on this road for approximately 30 minutes, where you'll reach the entrance of the site. There is a parking area available, but be prepared to pay a small fee, typically around 50 pesos for parking.

If you are using public transportation, take a bus from Ciudad Valles to the nearby town of Xilitla, which is about 40 km away. Buses leave frequently from the main bus terminal.
