Getting There

Bus
From Mexico City, go to the Terminal de Autobuses de Pasajeros de Pasajeros de Oriente (TAPO) bus station. You can take the Metro Line 7 (Orange Line) to Tacubaya station, then transfer to Line 12 (Golden Line) and get off at Mixcoac. From Mixcoac, take the Metro Line 7 (Orange Line) to the end of the line at Tacubaya. Then, take a taxi or ride-sharing service to TAPO. Once at TAPO, purchase a ticket to Teotihuacan (approximately 70-100 MXN). The bus will take you directly to the entrance of the Pyramids, which is about an hour's drive.

Metro and Bus
Take the Metro Line 1 (Pink Line) from any station to Pantitlán. At Pantitlán, transfer to Line 5 (Yellow Line) towards Pantitlán. Get off at the last stop, then transfer to the bus terminal where you can catch a bus to Teotihuacan. The bus ride will take about an hour, and you can purchase your ticket at the terminal (cost around 70-100 MXN). The bus will drop you off near the entrance of the Pyramids.

Tourist Shuttle
Consider booking a tourist shuttle service that operates from various points in Mexico City, such as Plaza de la Constitución (Zócalo) or the Angel of Independence. These shuttles often include a guided tour of the Pyramids and will provide you with a round-trip service. Tickets can be purchased online or at their designated booths, and the journey typically takes about an hour.
