From Mexico City, head to the Terminal de Autobuses de Pasajeros de Pasajeros de Observatorio or Terminal de Autobuses de Pasajeros de Pasajeros de del Norte. Purchase a ticket to San Juan Teotihuacán. The bus ride will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at the bus terminal in San Juan Teotihuacán, exit the terminal and head towards the main entrance of the archaeological site, Templo de Quetzalcóatl, which is about a 10-15 minute walk.

Take Line 5 (yellow line) of the Mexico City Metro from your nearest station to Pantitlan, and change to Line 1 (pink line) at Pantitlan towards Tacubaya. Get off at Observatorio station. From there, take a bus heading to San Juan Teotihuacán (look for signs that say 'Teotihuacán'). The bus ride will take about 1 hour. Once you arrive at the bus terminal in San Juan Teotihuacán, walk towards the main entrance of Templo de Quetzalcóatl, which is approximately a 10-15 minute walk.
