If you are starting from the Zócalo (the main square) in Oaxaca, head east on Calle de José María Morelos. Continue straight for about 10 minutes until you reach Av. José María Morelos. The Former Convent San Jose will be on your left at number 302.

From the Zócalo, you can take a local bus heading towards the Centro Historico. Board the bus on Avenida 5 de Febrero. After a 5-10 minute ride, get off at the stop for Av. José María Morelos. Walk back towards the west for a few minutes until you see the Former Convent San Jose at 302.
