Start at the Zócalo (the main square) in Oaxaca. Head south on Calle de Macedonio Alcalá until you reach the intersection with Avenida de la Independencia. Turn left onto Avenida de la Independencia and walk east for about 500 meters. You will see the Basílica de Nuestra Señora de la Soledad on your left at Av. de la Independencia 107.

From the Zócalo, walk to the nearest bus stop on Calle de José María Morelos. Board a bus heading towards Calzada Madero or Avenida de la Independencia. Inform the driver of your destination (Basílica de Nuestra Señora de la Soledad), which is a well-known landmark. After approximately 10 minutes, disembark at the stop closest to the basilica. Walk a short distance back west to reach the entrance at Av. de la Independencia 107.
