Walking
If you are starting from the Zócalo (the main square in Oaxaca), exit the square towards the northwest onto Calle de Morelos. Continue walking straight for about 400 meters until you reach the intersection with Calle 5 de Febrero. Turn left onto Calle 5 de Febrero and walk for about 300 meters. You will then see Plaza de la Danza on your right at C. 2 de Abril, CALZADA MADERO. The plaza is a beautiful open space that often features local events and has lovely views.

From the Zócalo, head to the nearest bus stop on Calle de Morelos, where you can catch a local bus heading towards the Centro Histórico. Ask the driver to let you off at the stop for 'Plaza de la Danza' or 'CALZADA MADERO.' The bus ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Once you get off, you should see the plaza directly ahead.
