From anywhere in Playa del Carmen, head to the ADO bus station located on Avenida 20 between Calle 12 and Calle 14. Look for buses heading towards Tulum; they typically run every 30 minutes. Purchase a ticket to Tulum and get on the bus. The ride takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Tulum, exit the bus station and look for a colectivo (shared van) heading to 'Río Secreto' or 'Cenotes'. The colectivo will cost around 30 pesos and will drop you off at the entrance of Río Secreto.

If you are near Avenida 5, walk to the nearest colectivo stop, which is usually found between Calle 12 and Calle 14. Get on a colectivo that has 'Tulum' or 'Cenotes' written on it.
