Collectivo
From Playa del Carmen, locate a collectivo (shared van) station. The most common place to catch a collectivo heading to Tulum is at the corner of Avenida 1 and Calle 12. Take a collectivo that has a destination sign indicating 'Tulum'. The fare is usually around 30-40 MXN. Inform the driver that you want to go to Xel-Há Park. The driver will drop you off at the main highway. From there, you will need to walk about 15 minutes down the highway to reach the entrance of Xel-Há Park.

To take a taxi from Playa del Carmen to Xel-Há Park, you can either hail one from the street or call a taxi service. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your trip; it should cost approximately 300-400 MXN. The taxi will take you directly to the entrance of Xel-Há Park, located at Carretera Chetumal Puerto Juárez Km 240, locales 1 & 2, módulo B.

Walk to the main bus station in Playa del Carmen, located on Avenida 20 between Calle 12 and 14. Purchase a ticket for a bus going to Tulum. The bus will take you along the highway.
