If you're in Marina Vallarta, the Butterfly Sanctuary Mariposario Jardin Magico is approximately a 30-minute walk away. Head east on Av. Paseo de la Marina until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Av. Francisco Medina Ascencio. Continue on this road for about 1.5 km until you reach C. Golondrina. Turn left on C. Golondrina and walk for about 200 meters. The sanctuary will be on your left.

Public Bus
You can also take a local bus from Marina Vallarta to the sanctuary. Head to the bus stop on Av. Francisco Medina Ascencio and wait for a bus heading towards the Centro (downtown). It should take about 10 minutes to reach the stop closest to the sanctuary. Get off at the stop near C. Golondrina. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to the sanctuary. The bus fare is approximately 10 pesos.

For a more comfortable option, you can take a taxi from Marina Vallarta to the Butterfly Sanctuary. Simply hail a taxi from the street or request one through a ride-hailing app. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic, and the fare will typically range from 80 to 120 pesos. Make sure to tell the driver the destination is 'C. Golondrina 60, Campo Verde'.
