Car
If you are driving from Playa del Carmen, take the Carretera 307 (Federal Highway 307) towards Tulum. The drive is approximately 45 minutes. Once you reach Tulum, continue straight until you see the signs for the town center. As you enter Tulum Centro, turn left onto C. Orión Sur. Mercado Tulum will be on your right. Be aware that parking may be limited near the market, so consider finding a spot a short walk away.

Public Transportation (Colectivo)
To reach Mercado Tulum using public transportation, take a colectivo (shared van) from Playa del Carmen or other areas in Riviera Maya. Colectivos to Tulum can be found at the main bus station in Playa del Carmen. The fare is usually around 50-70 MXN per person. During the ride, inform the driver that you want to stop at Tulum Centro. Once you arrive in Tulum, head towards the town center and walk to C. Orión Sur. Mercado Tulum will be located on your right.

Bus
Another option is to take an ADO bus from Playa del Carmen or Cancun directly to Tulum. ADO buses are comfortable and reliable, with tickets costing approximately 150-200 MXN. Upon arriving at the Tulum bus station, you can either walk (about 20 minutes) or take a taxi to Mercado Tulum. If walking, head south on Av. Tulum to reach C. Orión Sur, then turn right to find the market.
