If you're traveling by car, start by navigating to US Route 163. From popular cities in Southeastern Mexico like San Cristóbal de las Casas, head north on the highway towards Tuxla Gutiérrez. Once you reach Tuxla Gutiérrez, continue on the highway heading west until you reach the border with the United States. After crossing the border, follow US Route 163 north towards Mexican Hat, Utah. Once you reach the intersection with UT-316, turn left and follow the road for approximately 6 miles. The park entrance will be on your right. Ensure your vehicle has enough fuel, as there may not be many services available in this remote area.

Public Transportation
Public transportation options are limited in this region. However, you can take a bus from major cities like San Cristóbal de las Casas to Tuxla Gutiérrez. From Tuxla, you will need to find a bus service that heads towards the US border, such as those going to cities like Nogales or El Paso. Upon crossing into the US, you can take a Greyhound bus to Bluff, Utah. From Bluff, you can either rent a car or take a taxi to Goosenecks State Park, which is about 30 minutes away. Be sure to check bus schedules in advance and be aware of any potential delays.
