Public Transportation - Bus
From the main bus terminal in Tijuana (Terminal de Autobuses de Tijuana), take the bus heading towards San Diego. Make sure to get a ticket to the San Ysidro border crossing. Once you arrive at the border, you will need to go through immigration. After crossing into the United States, follow the signs to the San Ysidro Transit Center. From there, board the MTS Blue Line Trolley towards 'America Plaza'. Stay on the trolley until you reach the 'Gaslamp Quarter' station. Once you exit, transfer to the MTS Bus Route 7 towards 'University City'. Get off at the 'Balboa Park' stop. Walk approximately 10 minutes to reach the Balboa Park Visitors Center located at 1549 El Prado.

Once you cross into the United States, follow the pedestrian signs to the San Ysidro Transit Center. From there, take the MTS Blue Line Trolley towards 'America Plaza'. Get off at the 'Gaslamp Quarter' station. From there, transfer to the MTS Bus Route 7 towards 'University City' and get off at the 'Balboa Park' stop.
