From Balboa Park, walk west on El Prado, then turn left onto 6th Avenue. Continue south on 6th Avenue until you reach Spruce Street. Turn left onto Spruce Street, and walk east for two blocks. The bridge entrance will be on your right. This is a mostly flat walk through a residential area.

From downtown San Diego, take MTS bus route 3 or 11 towards the bridge. Exit at the 1st Avenue & Thorn Street stop. Walk south on 1st Avenue, then turn left onto Spruce Street. The bridge will be a short walk down Spruce Street on your left. A single ride on the MTS bus costs $2.50.

From Interstate 5, exit onto Sixth Avenue and head south. Turn left onto Spruce Street. Continue east on Spruce Street until you reach the bridge. Street parking is available, but can be limited. Be mindful of residential parking restrictions. Parking is free.
