After crossing into the United States at the San Ysidro Port of Entry, continue on the same route and catch the 'Blue Line' Trolley at the San Ysidro Trolley Station. Ride the Blue Line towards 'Downtown San Diego'. Get off at the 'Old Town' station. From there, transfer to bus route '35' towards 'Ocean Beach'. Stay on the bus until you reach 'Sunset Cliffs Blvd & Adair St'. Walk down Sunset Cliffs Blvd until you arrive at the Sunset Cliffs Viewpoint.

If you are already near the San Ysidro border crossing, you can walk across to the United States. Once you clear customs, follow signs for the 'San Ysidro Trolley Station'. Take the Blue Line Trolley towards 'Downtown San Diego' and get off at 'Old Town'. From Old Town, you can catch bus route '35' towards Ocean Beach. Once you get off at 'Sunset Cliffs Blvd & Adair St', walk down Sunset Cliffs Blvd to reach the viewpoint.
