Getting There

  • Bicycle

    From the center of Tulum, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops. Head south on Avenida Tulum until you reach the intersection with Avenida Cobá. Turn left onto Avenida Cobá and continue cycling for approximately 4 kilometers. Look for signs along the way indicating Cenote Regina. When you reach the cenote entrance, there will be a sign directing you to the parking area and entrance.

  • Walking

    If you prefer to walk, start from the main square (Plaza Principal) in Tulum. Head south on Avenida Tulum for about 1 kilometer until you reach Avenida Cobá. Turn left and continue walking for about 4 kilometers. Keep an eye out for local signs directing you to Cenote Regina. It may take around an hour and a half to reach the cenote on foot.

  • Collectivo

    From the main collectivo station in Tulum, take a collectivo heading towards Cobá. Ask the driver to drop you off at the cenote entrance. The ride should take about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive, follow the signs to the entrance of Cenote Regina. Be sure to confirm with the driver that they will stop at the cenote, as some may continue to Cobá.
