From your location in Zona Dorada, head towards the main avenue, Avenida Costera. Walk along the avenue towards the north until you reach the intersection with Avenida 16 de Septiembre. Turn left onto Avenida 16 de Septiembre and continue walking straight until you see the signs pointing to San Juan de Ulúa. The walk should take approximately 25-30 minutes.

Locate the nearest bus stop along Avenida Costera. Look for buses heading to 'Centro' or 'Veracruz Centro' (these should be clearly marked). Board the bus, which should cost around 10 pesos. Inform the driver that you are going to San Juan de Ulúa. Once you reach the bus terminal in the city center, exit the bus and follow the signs towards the waterfront. From there, it's a short walk to the entrance of San Juan de Ulúa.

Find a taxi stand nearby, or use a ride-hailing app if available. Inform the driver that you want to go to San Juan de Ulúa. The fare should be around 50-70 pesos, depending on traffic. The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes from Zona Dorada.
