Getting there

Car

If you're driving, you can reach Xcaret Park by taking Highway 307, which runs along the coast of the Yucatan Peninsula. From Cancun, head south on Highway 307 for approximately 68 km (about 1 hour). If you're coming from Playa del Carmen, it's just a short 10-minute drive (approximately 6 km). Look for the signs for Xcaret Park as you approach the area. There is a parking area available at the park, and parking fees are typically included in your entrance ticket.

Public Transportation (Bus)

To reach Xcaret Park via public transportation, you can take an ADO bus from various locations in the Yucatan Peninsula, such as Cancun or Tulum. From Cancun, board a bus heading to Playa del Carmen. The buses leave frequently and the journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Playa del Carmen, you can take a local colectivo (shared van) or taxi directly to Xcaret Park, which is about a 10-minute ride (approximately 6 km).
