Walking
If you are starting from the central part of Ann Arbor, such as from the University of Michigan campus, head west on N University Ave toward S State St. Continue on S State St until you reach W Huron St. Turn left onto W Huron St and continue walking until you reach S Main St. Turn right onto S Main St and walk south until you reach W Madison St. Turn left onto W Madison St, and the Old West Side Historic District will be on your right, between 700 and 798 W Madison St.
Public Transportation
From the central bus terminal in Ann Arbor, you can take the AATA bus route that heads toward the West Side. Board the bus that has a stop at the intersection of W Madison St and S Main St. After disembarking, walk west along W Madison St for a short distance, and you will reach the Old West Side Historic District situated between 700 and 798 W Madison St.
Biking
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from a local rental service. Start at the University of Michigan campus and head south on S University Ave. Continue onto S Main St and bike south until you reach W Madison St. Turn left onto W Madison St and continue biking until you reach the Old West Side Historic District at 700-798 W Madison St.
