    If you are starting from downtown Ann Arbor (e.g., near the Ann Arbor City Hall or the Main Street area), head east on Huron Street towards Washington Street. Turn left onto Washington Street and continue walking for about 0.5 miles. You will reach the intersection with Washington Heights. Turn right onto Washington Heights and walk for a few blocks until you see the entrance to Nichols Arboretum on your left at 1610 Washington Heights.

    From downtown Ann Arbor, catch the AATA (Ann Arbor Transportation Authority) bus route #4 or #5, heading towards the University of Michigan. You can board the bus at any stop along Main Street. Get off at the stop on Washington Heights. From there, walk south for about 5 minutes until you reach the Nichols Arboretum entrance at 1610 Washington Heights.

    If you are comfortable riding a bicycle, rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing programs in Ann Arbor. Start from the downtown area and head east on Huron Street.
