If you're starting from the University of Michigan campus, head east on South University Avenue towards East University Avenue. Turn right onto East University Avenue and continue straight until you reach North University Avenue. Turn left and walk north until you reach the intersection with Depot Street. Turn right onto Depot Street. The State of Michigan Historical Marker will be located on your left at 375-399 Depot St.
