If you are starting from downtown Detroit, you can take the QLine streetcar heading towards Congress and Woodward. Get off at the 'Cobo Hall' stop. From there, transfer to the #29 bus (a blue bus) heading west. The bus will take you along W Grand Blvd. After about 15 minutes, get off at the '15th St & Michigan Ave' stop. From there, walk south on 15th Street for about 5 minutes until you reach Michigan Central located at 2001 15th St.
