Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the Michigan State Capitol, head south on Capitol Avenue towards W Allegan Street. Turn right onto W Allegan Street and walk for about 0.3 miles until you reach S Washington Square. Turn left onto S Washington Square and continue walking for another 0.4 miles. Then, turn right onto E Michigan Avenue and walk for about 0.5 miles until you reach S Cedar Street. Turn left onto S Cedar Street and walk for about 1 mile. Continue straight as S Cedar Street becomes S Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. After 0.3 miles, turn right onto Moores River Drive. Frances Park will be on your left at 2701 Moores River Drive.

• Public Transport

  From the Michigan State Capitol, walk to the nearest CATA bus stop at Capitol & Allegan. Take the CATA Route 1 bus heading towards the South Lansing Transit Center. Ride for about 20 minutes until you reach the stop at Moores River Drive. Disembark and walk approximately 0.2 miles west on Moores River Drive to reach Frances Park at 2701 Moores River Drive.

• Biking

  Starting from Lansing City Market, head south on the River Trail towards Moores River Drive. Continue along the River Trail, which will take you through scenic views of the river. Follow the trail until you reach the intersection with Moores River Drive. Turn right and ride for about 0.5 miles. Frances Park will be on your left at 2701 Moores River Drive.
