If you're starting from the Michigan State Capitol, head north on Capitol Ave toward W Allegan St. Continue straight as Capitol Ave turns slightly right and becomes N Washington Ave. Walk until you reach E Grand River Ave. Turn left onto E Grand River Ave and continue for about 1 mile. You will pass various shops and cafes. When you reach the intersection with Bogue St, turn right. The Horticulture Gardens will be on your left at 1066 Bogue St, East Lansing, MI 48824. It should take approximately 30 minutes to walk this route.

From the Michigan State University (MSU) campus, you can take the CATA bus service. Find the nearest bus stop and board the bus that goes towards East Lansing. Look for the bus route that stops at Bogue St. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance. Once you get off at the Bogue St stop, walk south towards 1066 Bogue St where the Horticulture Gardens are located. The total travel time, including waiting for the bus, may take around 30-45 minutes.

If you have access to a bike, starting from downtown Lansing, head east on E Michigan Ave toward N Washington Ave. Continue until you reach the intersection with E Grand River Ave. Turn right onto E Grand River Ave and bike for about 1 mile. Then turn right onto Bogue St. The Horticulture Gardens will be on your left at 1066 Bogue St, East Lansing, MI 48824. This bike ride should take around 15-20 minutes, depending on your speed.
