Car
If you are traveling by car, start by heading north or south depending on your current location in the Lower Peninsula. The most common route is to take US-131 North or I-75 North to reach M-28. From M-28, turn onto M-77 North towards Newberry. Continue on M-77 until you reach the junction with M-28. Take M-28 West towards Munising. After about 26 miles, turn right onto River Road (County Road 442) which leads directly to Seney National Wildlife Refuge. The refuge is located at 1986 River Rd, Germfask, MI 49836. Parking is available on-site.

Public transportation options are limited in rural Michigan, but you can take a Greyhound bus to nearby towns such as Newberry or Munising. From either location, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to cover the remaining distance to Seney National Wildlife Refuge.
