Getting There

    From Main Street in Mackinac Island, head northeast towards Fort Mackinac. Walk along the path that leads to Fort Street and continue straight. After passing Fort Mackinac, you will come to a fork in the road. Take the path to the right, which leads towards Rifle Range Road. Follow Rifle Range Road, which will take you through a wooded area. Skull Cave is located on the left side of the road; look for the signage that indicates the entrance.

    Rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops on Main Street. Once you have your bike, head toward Fort Mackinac. Ride along Fort Street, and at the fork, take the right path onto Rifle Range Road.
