From the Main Street area of Mackinac Island, head east towards the Grand Hotel. Continue walking along the main road until you reach the entrance to Mackinac Island State Park. Enter the park and follow the signs for Rifle Range Road. As you walk, enjoy the beautiful scenery of the park. Keep an eye out for the trail signs, which will lead you directly to Skull Cave.
