Start at the Marquette Commons located at 112 S Third St, Marquette, MI 49855. Head south on S Third St towards W Washington St. Turn left onto W Washington St and walk until you reach N Third St. Turn right onto N Third St and continue walking until you reach the intersection with E Hewitt Ave. Turn left onto E Hewitt Ave. Continue walking east until you reach the intersection with N Lakeshore Blvd. Turn right onto N Lakeshore Blvd and follow it along the shoreline until you reach the area near Presque Isle Park.

From Presque Isle Park, continue to walk along the path that leads towards the scenic viewpoints. There will be signs directing you towards the Top of the World Lookout. Follow these signs, keeping an eye out for the lookout area. The hike may take approximately 30 minutes from Presque Isle Park depending on your pace.

Check the local bus schedule for the Marquette Area Transit Authority (MATA). Take the bus towards Negaunee and get off at the nearest stop, which should be close to the intersection of US-41 and County Road 550. From there, you can walk towards the Top of the World Lookout following the directions provided above, as it may be about a 20-30 minute walk from the bus stop.
