Walking
From downtown Marquette, head east on W Washington St toward N Third St. Continue for about 0.5 miles until you reach N Third St. Turn right onto N Third St. Walk for another 0.5 miles until you reach N Front St. Turn left onto N Front St and continue for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with E Munising Ave. Take a right onto E Munising Ave. After about 0.4 miles, you will see the entrance to the Dead River Park on your left, where you can access the trails that lead to Upper Dead River Falls.
Biking
If you have a bike, start from downtown Marquette and head east on W Washington St toward N Third St. Continue for about 0.5 miles and turn right onto N Third St. After another 0.5 miles, turn left onto N Front St. Follow N Front St for approximately 0.3 miles until you reach E Munising Ave. Turn right onto E Munising Ave, and bike for about 0.4 miles. Look for the entrance to Dead River Park on your left, which has trails leading to Upper Dead River Falls.
Public Transit
Take the Marquette public transit bus from the downtown area. Board the bus at the nearest stop on W Washington St. Request a stop at the Dead River Park stop along E Munising Ave. The bus ride should take about 15-20 minutes. Once you alight, follow the signs for the park trails which will lead you to Upper Dead River Falls.
