Bus
From the center of Mount Pleasant, head to the nearest bus stop on Coleman Blvd. Take the Charleston Area Regional Transportation Authority (CARTA) bus No. 40 towards the West Ashley area. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the stop at 'Folly Rd & Country Club Dr'. From there, walk east on Country Club Dr for about 10 minutes until you arrive at McLeod Plantation Historic Site, located at 325 Country Club Dr.

If you're comfortable cycling, rent a bike at a local rental shop in Mount Pleasant. Start your ride by heading south on Coleman Blvd and then take a left onto Mathis Ferry Rd. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Country Club Dr. Turn right onto Country Club Dr and follow it for about 2 miles until you see the entrance to McLeod Plantation Historic Site on your left.

Walking
If you prefer to walk, start from the center of Mount Pleasant and head south on Coleman Blvd. Continue straight for about 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Folly Rd. Cross over to the other side and continue walking on Country Club Dr. After about 0.5 miles, you will see McLeod Plantation Historic Site on your left at 325 Country Club Dr.
