    If you're starting from the Muskegon County Museum located at 430 W Clay Ave, head east on Clay Ave for two blocks until you reach the intersection with Pine St. Turn right (south) onto Pine St and continue for about four blocks until you reach Western Ave. Turn left (east) onto Western Ave and walk for another three blocks until you reach Shoreline Dr. Turn right (south) onto Shoreline Dr and continue walking for about a mile. You'll arrive at the Muskegon Lake waterfront, where you can enjoy views of the lake and access several parks along the shore.

    From the Muskegon Transit Center located at 991 Terrace St, take Bus Route 1 towards the Lakes Mall. Get off at the stop at the intersection of Seaway Dr and Shoreline Dr. From there, walk a short distance south along Shoreline Dr for about five minutes to reach Muskegon Lake. This route provides a scenic view of the area and is easy to navigate.
