Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Muskegon Museum of Art, head west on Western Avenue towards the intersection with 3rd Street. Turn left onto 3rd Street and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Pine Street. Turn right onto Pine Street and continue until you reach the intersection with E. Apple Avenue. At E. Apple Avenue, turn left. Keep walking straight for about half a mile, and you will see a small park area on your left side, which is near Pinchtown.

    From the downtown Muskegon area, you can catch the Muskegon Area Transit System (MATS) bus route that takes you towards the Nims neighborhood. Board the bus at the nearest stop labeled 'MATS Route 1.' Stay on the bus for about 10-15 minutes and get off at the stop nearest to Nims Park. From there, walk north towards the water, then take a left at the intersection to reach Pinchtown, which is located near the waterfront.

    If you prefer biking, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in downtown Muskegon. Head south on Shoreline Drive, following the bike path alongside the Lake Michigan shoreline. Continue until you reach the intersection with E. Apple Avenue. Turn left and bike about 1.5 miles, then turn right at the intersection with Pine Street. Continue straight for a short distance, and you will see Pinchtown on your right.
