Walking
From downtown Petoskey, head east on E Lake St towards Waukazoo Ave. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Michigan Ave. Turn left onto Michigan Ave and walk for about 0.7 miles. You will see the signs directing you to Petoskey State Park. Follow the signs for another 1.2 miles until you reach Park Rd. Turn right onto Park Rd and walk approximately 0.3 miles. The Petoskey State Park Kayak Rental will be on your left.

Bicycle
Start at the Petoskey Bike Path located near the waterfront. Head north on the path until you reach the intersection with US-31. Turn right onto US-31 and follow it for about 1.5 miles. Look for the entrance to Petoskey State Park on your left. Turn left into the park and follow the road until you reach Park Rd. The kayak rental is located near the entrance, just a short distance from the main road.

Public Transit
Take the Emmet County Public Transit bus from downtown Petoskey. Board the bus at the nearest bus stop and request to go to Petoskey State Park. The ride takes approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive at the park, follow the signs to the kayak rental area, which is a short walk from the bus stop.
