From downtown Traverse City, head to the nearest bus stop on Front St or Union St. You can catch the Bay Area Transportation Authority (BATA) bus. Make sure to check the schedule for routes going towards the East Side of Traverse City. Take the bus to the stop at the intersection of Center Rd and M-72. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1 mile south on Center Rd to reach Pelizzari Natural Area at 6852 Center Rd.

If you're in the downtown area, rent a bicycle from one of the local bike rental shops. Head east on Front St, then take a right onto Division St. Continue straight until you reach M-72. Turn left onto M-72, and then right onto Center Rd. Continue south for about 1 mile, and you will find Pelizzari Natural Area on your right at 6852 Center Rd.

If you are close to downtown Traverse City, start walking on Front St heading east. Continue until you reach Division St and take a right. Follow Division St until you intersect with M-72. At M-72, turn left and walk until you reach Center Rd. Take a right on Center Rd and continue walking south for about 1 mile to Pelizzari Natural Area, located at 6852 Center Rd.
