If you're driving from the northern parts of Lake Superior's North Shore, take MN-61 S towards Duluth. Continue on MN-61 S for approximately 40 miles. Once you reach Duluth, merge onto I-35 S. Take exit 256B for 21st Ave W toward US-53 S. Continue on 21st Ave W, then turn left onto Fremont St. Follow Fremont St for about 1 mile, and the Lake Superior And Mississippi Railroad will be on your right at 6930 Fremont St, Duluth, MN 55807.

If you're using public transportation, start by taking a Greyhound or Jefferson Lines bus from various locations along Lake Superior's North Shore to Duluth. Once in Duluth, you can use the Duluth Transit Authority (DTA) buses. Take the DTA Route 6 (or Route 12) from the Duluth Transit Center towards the Irving area. Exit at the stop closest to Fremont St, and walk approximately half a mile south on Fremont St to reach Lake Superior And Mississippi Railroad at 6930 Fremont St.
