Car
If you're driving, start by heading to Highway 169. From any point in the Minnesota River Valley, find the nearest road that connects to Highway 169. Once on Highway 169, head south towards Jordan. Take the exit for County Road 66/Jordan. Follow County Road 66 until you reach Park Blvd. Turn left onto Park Blvd, and you will see the Minnesota Valley State Recreation Area entrance at 20550 Park Blvd, Jordan, MN 55352. There is no entrance fee for the recreation area.

Public Transportation
For public transportation, check local bus services that connect to the Minnesota Valley area. You may need to take a bus to the nearest major transit hub (like the Burnsville Transit Station). From there, catch a bus heading toward Jordan. Make sure to check the schedules in advance, as services may not run frequently. Once you reach Jordan, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles from the bus stop to the recreation area entrance at 20550 Park Blvd. It's advisable to use a map application for walking directions.

Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous, biking is another great option. Use local bike paths to navigate through the Minnesota River Valley. Head towards Highway 169, using bike-friendly routes to connect to County Road 66. Once you reach County Road 66, continue onto Park Blvd. The Minnesota Valley State Recreation Area will be on your left at 20550 Park Blvd. Make sure to wear a helmet and bring plenty of water. There are no bike rental services directly at the park, so plan accordingly.
