If you're driving from anywhere in Southeastern Minnesota, start by getting on I-35W N from your location. Follow I-35W N for approximately 10 miles until you reach the exit for I-494 W toward the Airport. Merge onto I-494 W and continue for about 8 miles. Take the exit 8 for France Ave S. Turn right onto France Ave S and drive for about 1 mile. The Normandale Japanese Garden will be on your left at West Lot, 9700 France Ave S, Bloomington, MN 55431. There is free parking available in the West Lot.

To reach Normandale Japanese Garden via public transportation, first find the nearest Metro Transit bus stop. You can take the Route 54 bus towards the Mall of America. Get off at the France Ave S & 96th St stop. From there, it is about a 15-minute walk south along France Ave S to reach the garden at West Lot, 9700 France Ave S, Bloomington, MN 55431.
