Getting There

• Walking

  If you're in the heart of Downtown Minneapolis, you can easily walk to the Mary Tyler Moore Statue at 700 Nicollet Mall. Start from the Nicollet Mall light rail station, located at 5th Street and Nicollet Mall. Head south on Nicollet Mall for about 3 blocks. As you walk, you'll notice various shops and cafes. The statue is located near the intersection of Nicollet Mall and 7th Street, just outside the former Dayton's department store.   If you're further away in Downtown Minneapolis, you can use the Metro Transit light rail system. Take the light rail to the Nicollet Mall station. Once you arrive, exit the train and head south on Nicollet Mall. The Mary Tyler Moore Statue is a short walk from the station, approximately 3 blocks down. This option costs around $2.50 for a one-way ticket. The light rail is a convenient option if you're coming from places like the U.S. Bank Stadium or the Mall of America.
