    The Mississippi Armed Forces Museum is located inside Camp Shelby, approximately 12 miles south of Hattiesburg. From US 49, turn onto Southgate Road and continue until you reach Camp Shelby's South Gate entrance. Follow the procedures for Camp Shelby visitors. Once inside Camp Shelby, turn right onto 6th St., then turn left onto Forrest Ave. West. The Museum will be ahead on the left. Visitors should be aware that a valid photo ID is required for entry to Camp Shelby for those over 16 years of age. Privately owned firearms are not permitted on the premises. Parking is available at the museum.
