If you're driving from anywhere in The Jackson Prairie, start by heading north on US-49 N. Continue for about 5 miles. Merge onto I-20 W towards Jackson. After approximately 8 miles, take exit 46A toward US-51 S. Continue on US-51 S for about 1 mile and take a slight right onto North St. The Mississippi Civil Rights Museum will be on your left at 222 North St #2205, Jackson, MS 39201. There is usually ample parking available nearby, but be aware that some public parking may incur a fee.

For those using public transportation, you can take the JATRAN bus system. Board the bus labeled 'JATRAN Route 1' at any local bus stop within The Jackson Prairie. Head west on East Capitol St towards North State St, then turn left onto North State St. Continue until you reach North St, then turn right.
