Getting There

  • Public Transit - MetroLink

    If you are near downtown St. Louis, start by heading to the nearest MetroLink station, such as the 8th Street Station or Convention Center Station. Purchase a ticket to the University City Big Bend Station. Take the MetroLink train heading towards the Delmar Loop. After about 15 minutes, get off at the University City Big Bend Station. From there, exit the station and head east on Big Bend Boulevard for about 0.5 miles. Turn right onto Forsyth Boulevard, and then take the first left onto Brookings Drive. Washington University will be on your left.

    Locate the nearest bus stop in St. Louis and check for the MetroBus routes. Take Bus Route 1 (Blue Line) towards the Delmar Loop. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the stop on Forsyth Boulevard and Big Bend Boulevard. From there, walk east on Forsyth Boulevard until you reach Brookings Drive, then turn left. Walk straight for about 0.2 miles, and you will arrive at Washington University in St. Louis.
