Train
From Monte Carlo, head to the Monte Carlo train station (Gare de Monte-Carlo). You can easily walk there from the Casino Square by following Avenue de la Madone, then turning left onto Avenue des Beaux-Arts. Once at the train station, purchase a ticket to Cannes. The train journey will take approximately 40-50 minutes. Upon arrival at Cannes train station, exit the station and walk towards Rue d'Antibes. Continue down Rue d'Antibes until you reach the intersection with Rue de la Castre. Turn right onto Rue de la Castre, and after a short walk, you will find the Musée des explorations du monde at number 6.
Bus
From Monte Carlo, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located at the Monte Carlo Casino. Take bus line 100 towards Nice. Ride the bus until you reach the Cannes stop. Once you get off the bus, walk towards Rue d'Antibes, then turn right onto Rue de la Castre. After a short walk, you will find the Musée des explorations du monde at number 6.
Ferry
If you prefer a scenic route, consider taking a ferry from Monte Carlo to Cannes. Head to the Port of Monte Carlo and look for the ferry service to Cannes. The ferry ride will offer beautiful views of the Mediterranean and will take about 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Cannes ferry terminal, exit and head towards Rue d'Antibes. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rue de la Castre. Turn right onto Rue de la Castre, and after a short walk, you will arrive at the Musée des explorations du monde at number 6.
