From Monte Carlo, head to the nearest bus stop, which is likely 'Monte Carlo - Gare Routière' (the main bus station). Catch bus number 100 towards Nice. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at 'Nice - Gare Routière'. From there, walk toward the Promenade des Anglais, then follow the signs to the tram station. Take the tram line 1 towards 'Hôpital Pasteur' and get off at the 'Garibaldi' stop. The Place Giuseppe Garibaldi is just a short walk from the tram stop.
Train
Begin at Monte Carlo's train station, 'Gare de Monaco'. Take a train towards Nice Ville, which is a direct route and takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Nice Ville, exit the train station and head towards Avenue Thiers. Turn left and walk until you reach the tram station. Take tram line 1 towards 'Hôpital Pasteur' and disembark at the 'Garibaldi' stop. You will find Place Giuseppe Garibaldi just a short walk from the tram stop.

If you're feeling adventurous and have a good pair of walking shoes, you can walk from Monte Carlo to Nice, which is about 10 km and will take roughly 2 hours. Start from the Monte Carlo Casino and head towards the seaside. Follow the coastal path along the Promenade des Anglais until you reach Nice. Once you're in Nice, look for Place Garibaldi which is close to the old town and can be reached on foot from the seaside.
